Kornspitz "Festive"
Ingredients:
ca. 60 g cooked duck breast, sliced
Salad
150 g red cabbage, grated
100 g green cabbage, grated
125 g carrot, grated
½ red onion, finely sliced
½ apple, finely sliced
½ handful coriander leaves, shredded
½ handful mint leaves, shredded
Dressing
2 tbsp. walnut oil / olive oil
½ lemon, juice
1 lime, juice
1 tbsp. honey
¼ tsp chilli flakes
½ tsp salt
Preparation:
Take your snacking up a level this festive season. Weāve combined some of the most popular ingredients associated with this time of year, and tucked them all inside a crispy Kornspitz. Hereās how:
Mix the dressing ingredients together. Put cabbage, carrot and onion into a bowl. Pour the dressing over and toss the salad ingredients lightly. Add the mint, coriander and apple and then mix again.
Slice the Kornspitz and place a good portion of salad (about 4 heaped tablespoons) on the bottom half. Top with a few slices of cooked duck breast, and there you have it.
